Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing Manager

We’re seeking an experienced HCP Marketing Manager to join Venture Life’s Brand team. Reporting to the Director of Brands with no direct reports, you will develop and execute targeted strategies to engage healthcare professionals including midwives, GPs, nurses, urologists, pharmacists, and IVF clinics and drive recommendation of Venture Life’s health brands. Key focus brands include Balance Activ (BV treatment), Lift (glucose/energy), Health & Her (menopause), and Health & Him (andropause). You’ll ensure brand messaging highlights clinical value and aligns with professional guidelines (e.g. NICE, NHS initiatives)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HCP marketing campaigns for each brand, tailoring messaging and value propositions to different HCP audiences (midwives, GPs, nurses, urologists, pharmacists, IVF clinics, etc.).
  • Design and implement HCP sampling programs and educational initiatives (e.g. sampling of Balance Activ at clinics, training sessions on Lift supplements) to encourage product trials and endorsements.
  • Work with external experts (NICE scheme consultants, etc.) to navigate NHS Pharmacy First and similar programs, ensuring Venture Life products are integrated into these care pathways.
  • Create and deliver HCP-facing materials (e.g. brochures, slide decks, digital content) and coordinate outreach communications for professional audiences.
  • Manage the company’s presence at relevant HCP events and conferences (GP, pharmacy, midwife, urology, fertility conferences, etc.), including planning booths, presentations or sponsorships.
  • Drive HCP engagement through traditional and digital channels (journals, events, email campaigns, webinars, social media), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for each campaign; track metrics (e.g. HCP engagement, sample uptake, feedback) and report on outcomes, insights and ROI to the Brand leadership.
  • Work closely with commercial, digital marketing and product teams to align HCP messaging with broader brand strategy and promotional activities.

Role Requirements

  • Healthcare Marketing Experience: Proven experience in OTC healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, or equivalent (even as an HCP such as a nurse, pharmacist or allied health professional).
  • UK Healthcare Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UK healthcare system and how to engage HCPs within it (NHS structure, referral pathways, major specialties, etc.). Familiarity with recent NHS initiatives – e.g. the NHS Pharmacy First service launched in 2024 (which enables pharmacists to supply treatments for minor ailments) – is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse HCP stakeholders and clearly convey scientific/clinical information.
  • Self-Starter & Organiser: Highly self-motivated and organised; able to plan and execute complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines, often independently.
  • Passion & Domain Expertise: Genuine passion for health and wellness. Prior experience or interest in women’s health, men’s health, pharmacy settings or related fields will be a strong asset.
